Today we are 3 months away from our 22nd Annual Ladies Winter Retreat! Registrations are coming in online and in the mail every week. Several of you are pre-registered from 2019, 2020 and 2021. For 2 years we have gone virtual due to covid and my treatment in October and November of last year. This year, I am so excited that we are going to gather once again in Pigeon Forge for a weekend in the presence of the Lord Jesus!
If you have not yet registered, you can go to our Ladies Retreat page and fill out your form that will send you directly to our Paypal account. You can also mail your form to my home address PO Box 125 Willisburg KY 40078. The deadline for early registration is October 1 for the $30 fee. Beginning October 1, registration becomes $40. Children 12 and under will not pay a registration fee but I need their age and first name as we are preparing surprises for them. I have mailed packets to our churches with several forms and a flyer to post. If your church has not received your packet, email me your address at trammellministry@aol.com or I will also be happy to send you a form personally if you will email your address.
There are 3 options for motels that have given us a group rate. The Evergreen (formerly Ramada Inn) shares the parking lot with the Convention Center. Even though this is very convenient, this is an older motel that has not been renovated in several years. The Creekstone and Rivers Landing is about a block away on the Little Pigeon River with balconies in each room overlooking the river. Both these motels have been newly renovated this year and are giving a group rate by calling 1-800-523-3919. They offer double queen, double king rooms along with suites with kitchenettes. There are several other options in Pigeon Forge….cabins, condos and many other motels.
I am excited about our theme this year! It is prophetic of where we are…..Out of the ashes we rise! Many battles, storms, difficulties and losses we have walked through in the last 2 years but we are rising stronger than ever before! I have prepared theme shirts that I will have at the Retreat and I know you are going to want to receive one!
Ronnie and friends will be doing our praise and worship this year for our 22nd Anniversary! Jeff Vaughn and Heritage will join Ronnie along with the Moyer Family! It is going to be a great time in the presence of the Lord to begin each service. Ronnie will be singing along with Jeff, Randal, Miriam and the Moyers and ….including me as we walk with Him in worship!
Tammy and Sandra will return to make photo keepsakes for you and your group. We will also set up a photo station for you to take selfies with your bff or the new friends you will meet this year! Tammy will print your photo onsite for you to carry home with you as a keepsake!
Because we have had 2 years of virtual Retreats, I have several door prizes prepared for you. We will close the Retreat by giving away all the gifts on Saturday morning! Of course there will be 4 or 5 sets of Christmas dishes, Vera Bradley and 31 bags. gift basket from Grove, a beautiful hand painted lighthouse picture that has hung in my home the last 2 years! Cindy Hornbrook donated this for our 2020 Retreat and I am having a hard time letting it go! We will have some other surprises as we get closer to this year’s Retreat!
I am renewing our supply for He Died for Me screenprinted tshirts, rhinestone shirts and of course the theme shirt. You are going to love some of the new colors, soft style and vneck shirts we have this year!
I will be updating more as we get closer to time. You can watch for updates on my personal fb page Becky Ferree Trammell and I will be giving updates during my morning devotion at 8:30. We are ready to have our 940th devotion tomorrow with a walk through the Word and prayer for the sick. You can join me each morning on my personal page live or watch later on either my personal page or the He Died for Me Ministries page.
I look forward to worshipping with you this year in Pigeon Forge!
