We are walking into another new year. It will be a year of new beginnings for us. 2018 was filled with mountains to climb, valleys to walk through, desert places and raging rivers. As we traveled the country in revival, we heard the same report. This has been a year of great trial. But the year came to an end and here we are! Still standing strong!
I love the principle of seasons. Just as we have traveled through summer….then fall and the changing of the leaves and now have entered winter, soon spring will return and summer again. No season lasts forever! The same principle is true in our lives. We travel from hurt to healing…from sorrow to laughter….from no direction to new direction. Each season changes us. Each change makes us better. We find comfort in His promise. “After that you have suffered a while, make you perfect (mend or repair), stablish (turn resolutely in a certain direction), strengthen, settle (lay a foundation for) you.” “It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes (prescribed task or appointment).” So here is our beginning!
In the beginning, God created. It was so from the very beginning of time. This year, He is creating in us once again. Every hurt, heartache, sorrow, disappointment and challenge of 2018 has created within us a new beginning. We enter 2019 stronger…because we survived, more compassionate…because we have suffered, with our eye more single….because our help came from the Lord.
I walk with you into this new season…new year with high expectations of a better me, a better ministry, a better life in Him. We did not become bitter because of our challenges, we became better! I look forward to seeing you in service this year in the presence of the Lord….in your new beginning!

I have been invited to attend a camp meeting in Waynesville, North Carolina in July. My informant told me that you and your nephew, Bro Aaron Feree are both preaching. I can’t find that on your calendar. Will you please post this so that we can make sure we have the correct information?
