Campmeeting has begun!

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

We had our first night at Winter Campmeeting 2010 in Johnson City, Tennessee tonight and it was great!  We had a great crowd and great Presence…I love when He shows up!  Mike preached so great and we all joined in and preached with him.  We were so happy to see Pastor Jeff Shifflett from Virginia where our next campmeeting will be in April.  We look forward to more of our friends coming in tomorrow and Friday…to see what He has in store for us all!  Hope to see you this week!

Pray for Lori’s family…

Monday, January 25th, 2010

Many of you will remember Lori…she was saved in our meeting off drugs and 5 weeks later shot and killed by a drug dealer.  I have told her story at many of our services over the past 2 years.  Her mom called me to request prayer.  He received a guilty sentence and is serving time but lawyers are trying to get it reversed to time served and he will be back on the street after 2 years in prison for her murder and the death of her unborn 4 month baby.  They go to court on Thursday…please pray with us that he will not be released but will be forced to serve his time…the family is concerned for their well being if he is released.  We value your prayers.  Thank you.

Prayer Request

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

Please pray for my uncle Allen…he is 80 and they are going to do open heart surgery this week…his blood is calcifiying in arteries in his heart.  It has affected his ability to remember how to do simple things at home.  We believe God and are expecting to hear another report of victory!  Thank you for standing with us in prayer.

Revival dates incorrect!

Friday, January 15th, 2010

We are in revival at the Place of Refuge Church in Fort Pierce, FL.  I had Thursday-Friday, January 14-16 on our site and on the flyers.  The dates are right…the days are wrong.  It should read Thursday-Saturday, January 14-16.  Please forgive my mistake…if you are in the Fort Pierce area, hope to see you this weekend!  See Revival Schedule page for more details!

Prayer requests coming in…

Thursday, January 14th, 2010

I received this email from my niece today…

Will you guys please pray again for my friend Jacklyn’s brother in law, Tony? He’s the one with the incurable, inoperatable brain tumor, that was stationed in Germany. He has been on a drug trial in D.C. since Oct or Nov but today they couldn’t get him awake, keep his eyes open. He can no longer swallow or use the bathroom on his own, can only grunt & groan. She asked me to pray that, if God is not going to heal him, he would pass soon and peaceably. He was put in ICU today at Walter Reed, I think. He’s 33. Has 3 kids, ages 11 months to 6 years. Thank you.  ~ @mY ~

We also received a call from our pastor in Summerville, SC where we were just in revival last week.  Their organ player’s son is in ICU with double pneumonia…they put him in an induced coma last night and told the family he may only live 24 hrs.  He is in his mid 20’s.  We need to stand together for these two requests…our God is a miracle worker.  Thank you prayer partners.  Becky

Prayer for Kathy’s Dad

Wednesday, January 13th, 2010

Please pray for Kathy’s dad in Wilkesboro, North Carolina.  She called me today for prayer for her dad.  They have admitted him into the hospital with hallucinations…he is 80 years old.  They are changing his medicine but not getting any better.  Her mom is staying at the hospital trying to keep him calm.  Kathy has walking  pneumonia and double ear infection and is helping take care of mom and dad.  Their family needs a touch from the Lord soon.  Please join with me as we touch the heart of God.

Prayer for Jimmy

Friday, January 8th, 2010

We are preaching in Fort Pierce next week and Jimmy is scheduled for surgery next Thursday…he has kidney stone 5mm (size of end of your thumb) and they are going to blast it and let him pass the pieces.  Until then, they are keeping him on pain meds.  Please agree with us that the Lord will intervene in this and move for Jimmy.  Thanks prayer partners.

Many prayer requests today…

Tuesday, January 5th, 2010

I have had many prayer requests today…my brother, Bobby, that had staph on his knee was in ER today with allergic reaction to antibiotic…rash over all his body and muscle aches…they have stopped meds, added new antibiotic and gave Benedryl shot…he is out of town working…please hold him up in prayer until we see total healing in that knee.

We visited Ronnie’s close friend, Ben, today in SC….he is taking chemo and radiation for cancer at bottom of esophagus…having a very hard time…let’s hold him up in prayer for complete healing.

Pastor Peggy from Florida, some ladies from retreat will remember, her husband is battling MRSA in lungs and blood clot in lung…he needs us to stand together in prayer for him…we will see them next week in meeting…believing God for a real touch in His body.

We are receiving prayer requests on our facebook, through email and our cell phone…there are many needs right now.  Let’s hold up the body of Christ as they walk through these difficult situations.  Thank you for your prayers.

Happy New Year!

Friday, January 1st, 2010

“But the land, whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven: a land which the Lord thy God careth for: the eyes of the Lord thy God are always upon it, from the begtinning of the year even unto the end of the year.”  Deut 11:11, 12

This is so true a story of what has been behind us and what lies ahead.  It is a journey of hills and valleys.  A journey the Lord cares for and His eyes are forever upon His seed from the beginning of the year to the end.  My confidence today is that I will face nothing this year that He will not be with me to carry me through to the other side.

I pray 2010 will be a great year for you….great in health, happiness, prosperity, peace, joy and the love of friends and family!
