Healings in our meetings!

Saturday, June 12th, 2010

God has surely smiled on His people this week in revival.  We just left Savannah, Tennessee where we had a young woman give her life to Jesus and young man receive the baptism in the Holy Ghost…many lives set free…encouraged…lifted from great bondages.  We were so thrilled and came to Aiken, SC with great expectations!  We are please to report God is faithful and the same in SC as He was in TN!  We have had one saved and 2 rededications so far in SC and…

Last night we had an old fashion prayer line and one girl had fibromylgia, high bp, diabetes, and liver swollen and in continual pain and spasms from fibro for 10 years.  Before she had left the church, she was pain free!  Today at her regular doctor appt, bp was back to normal, sugar level normal and no swollen liver!  Tonight she is still pain free!

Then we had a man with difficulty in his shoulder…couldn’t raise it but 1/2 way up and 2 fingers locked in bended position and unable to straighten them…both since Feb 2009.  Tonight he came in  raising his hand over his head….fingers loose and able to open and bend….totally healed in Jesus Name!

What a mighty God we serve…no wonder angels bow before Him!  My heart is filled tonight for all the great things He has done!  Thank you Jesus.

Revival dates incorrect!

We are in revival at the Place of Refuge Church in Fort Pierce, FL.  I had Thursday-Friday, January 14-16 on our site and on the flyers.  The dates are right…the days are wrong.  It should read Thursday-Saturday, January 14-16.  Please forgive my mistake…if you are in the Fort Pierce area, hope to see you this weekend!  See Revival Schedule page for more details!

Tent Meeting in South Carolina

Saturday, September 26th, 2009

Mike and Sally and Ronnie and I are in tent revival in Langley, South Carolina.  We started Tuesday and tonite is our last night.  We have had great meetings each night with 5 saved so far this week!  We are praising God for His touch in these meetings.  It is always such a blessing for us as evangelists to come to town and see souls saved and to fellowship in the presence of the Lord with our old friends making new friends along the way.  Thank you, Brother Chris, for setting your tent and making this meeting possible…and thanks to the musicians, singers and everyone who came out to help us reach the lost in this area.  We are laborers together with God. We love you.

God has smiled on us this week!

Monday, August 10th, 2009

I am rejoicing this afternoon as I prepare for our service tonight in South Carolina.  All day while we traveled to our next meeting, Ronnie and I talked of how good God has been this week!  We had 3 souls saved this weekend in Georgia and Mike had either 15 or 18 saved Tuesday night in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky (too many to count)!  It has been a long time since we had too many to count getting saved in one service!  Then Mike and I reminenced this afternoon of how many we have had since the first of the year.  The tent meeting we held together in Florida in March we had 9 saved in 10 days.  It has never been our way to keep track of how many are being saved or how many are healed.  We just go, preach, pray for the sick, reach for those in trouble and then go again tomorrow.  We have continued to do that for 25 years (and for Mike over 30 years).  For us it started in Florida, then Mobile, and Florida again, then Kentucky and Georgia until of those we can remember off the top of our head, there have been over 40 saved this year so far!  Then today it hit me, God has smiled on us.  Scripture says, He that winneth souls is wise…and it is not His will that any should perish, but all come to repentance.  I know He has smiled on us for no man comes to the Father except the Spirit draws him.  His Spirit is drawing right now and I am so thankful to be a part of it!  2009 has been a year of salvation and healings all around us….not 50 or 100 at one time….but a consistent amount week after week and now in the middle of the year, my heart is rejoicing.  God has been good to us…He has surely smiled on us…and today we are thankful for over 40 new souls!

Several New Churches….Thank You

Thursday, July 16th, 2009

Ronnie and I have been to several new churches this year.  This week we started with Brad Jay in Saluda, South Carolina and met many new friends along with several of our friends from Laurens, Aiken, Langley and Columbia.  There we met another new pastor from W. Columbia and are looking forward to our meeting with him in October.

We traveled to a Campmeeting with the Gunn’s in Crawfordville, Florida for the first time but were so happy to see old friends from Otter Creek and East Point where I had preached over 20 years ago long before I had met Ronnie.  We started the meeting with my brother, Mike, on Sunday night where we watched five backslidders return to the Lord.  It was great to see them return to the meetings on Monday still seeking His face!  We look forward to returning to that area again real soon with the Hatfield’s in East Point.

Last night we ended a meeting with the Turner’s in St. Augustine, Florida.  It was such a wonderful meeting with a young girl giving her heart to the Lord coming off drugs after hearing how God changed my life.  It was like going back 34 years and watching myself in a mirror starting again.  We were so happy being in a new church and seeing old friends come in from Hilliard, Palatka and Macclenny.

Then I can’t talk about Florida meetings without saying how much we love their fresh shrimp and Blue Crab!  I think we have eaten enough this week to carry us for a while!

Today we are on our way to another new church in Pelham, Georgia where Ronnie’s niece is music minister.  We are so excited to yet again meet new friends in Jesus!  I would like to thank all our pastors and friends, new and old for the kindness they have showed to us this week.  You make our traveling days very pleasant and the meetings a great refreshing.  Thank You.  Ronnie and Becky
