Happy New Year!

December 31st, 2011

This is the last day of 2011 and a welcomed one I might add!  We have had a very eventful year…with one explosion after another…but God has been faithful and we are at the end.  I am reminded that every season has an end and we have reached another one!  Thank you Jesus…

We now set our face ahead to 2012 and the meetings we have planned this year.  Our first Ladies Meeting is in Fort Pierce FL with Pastor’s wife, Tina Velie and the House of Refuge.  We had such a great meeting last year and expect no less this year…  Then in February we return to St Augustine for the Unity Fellowship Ladies Retreat with Peggy Jones.  This is always such a time of refreshing.

Our first Campmeeting will be in Johnson City, TN in January with Pastors Bo Barnes and Garry Hyder.  We always have a visitation of His presence in these regional Campmeetings with my brother Mike Ferree and Cecil Hamby.

We are already making plans for the Spring Retreat for the entire family in beautiful Pigeon Forge, TN.  You can make plans now to join us for this Easter weekend event.

All our meetings are on the website….details on Bulletin, Campmeeting, and Ladies Meeting pages.  Check back from time to time to see what new things we have planned!

I look forward to what God has in store for us all in 2012.  He has already gone before us and laid out a path…for the steps of the good man are ordered by the Lord!

Happy New Year….

A month of Thanksgiving..

November 21st, 2011

I am on facebook…under Becky Ferree Trammell….and this month one of my friends mentioned that she would be posting a daily Thankful post all month long.  Her idea quickly caught on and for the last 3 weeks we have read daily posts from several thankful peeps!  This morning as we are about to reach the end of this Thankful month I begin to think about how sad I would be to see it come to an end.  Knowing you “have an assignment” to post your Thankful each day….causes you to step back and look around….smell the roses….consider your day….and what He has done for you!  What a wonderful idea for the rest of our life…begin each morning being thankful.

My Mom, who will turn 81 this year, has a Thankful Journal.  Each morning she posts what she is thankful for that day.  She has lived a long life….her home is filled with peace….she has an amazing record of getting answers to her prayers…and often God drops wonderful nuggets into her heart that she shares with me on a regular basis.  I believe this is the harvest of a thankful life.

I am going to set my face to continue this wonderful tradition….after Thanksgiving has come and gone…  Instead of having a thankful month….why not a thankful life!  Perhaps we have found the secret to His favor….Enter into His gates with thankgiving….and His courts with praise!

Ladies Retreat…3 weeks and counting!

October 20th, 2011

We are down to the last 3 weeks before our 11th Annual Ladies Winter Retreat in Pigeon Forge, TN!  I have ordered the meal….roast beef, smothered chicken, broccoli and cheese, corn, salad, rice and chocolate cake.  Makes me a little hungry now!  Our tote bags are ready to be stuffed with goodies for everyone..Christmas dishes are ready….door prizes are coming in…Christmas Place, Applewood Restaurant, Cracker Barrel, Dollywood tickets, Vera Bradley from Mr. Tablecloth and still more to come!  Many great surprises for this year…but the highlight of the meeting is none of the above…it is when He walks in and visits with us…carries us into His presence…and changes us from one glory to another glory!  I can feel the excitement building…there is still time to make your reservations at the Ramada Inn 1-800-523-3919 and ask for He Died for Me Ministries group rate of $64 for 2 queen beds.  Registration fee is $30 if you pre register and $35 at the door.

Many of the ladies will be bringing a wrapped Christmas gift to exchange.  If you bring a gift, your name will go into a drawing and you receive a gift. This is only if you choose to participate.

Last but definitely not least…you don’t want to miss the worship service with my sister in law and nieces…the Ferree Family.  Last year they carried us into His presence night after night…we are anxiously anticipating what He has in store for us this year!  See you in three weeks!!!!

11th Annual Ladies Winter Retreat!

July 29th, 2011

We are preparing registration forms and flyers for this year’s Ladies Winter Retreat!  We have our packets ready to go out to over 230 pastors and sending to our mailing list with the necessary forms.  This year we are so excited to have added a downloadable registration form on the website…along with paypal!  Now you can send your registration in by email…pay online….no postage!!  You do not need a paypal account…you can use your credit/debit card or your bank account on this secure site.  We are hoping this will help get everyone registered before the first night of the meeting!  Last year we had 78 women register at the door…we hope to shrink that number to pre-registered guests!  We have also prepared beautiful Longaberger totes for our pre-registered ladies….and as long as they last for those registering at the door.  Last year, we were forced to offer second choice bags for those coming in late.

We are so happy to have everyone…even those at the 11th hour….but letting us know early makes our preparation much easier!  Make your plans now….book your room at the Ramada Inn at 1-800-523-3919 for our special group rate of $64 for 2 queen beds or up to 4 people per room.  The Ramada shares the parking lot with the Convention Center…along with walking distance to Cracker Barrel, KFC and Krispy Kreme Donuts!  It is such a great time of fellowship for the women…reuniting with old friends from previous years…and meeting new friends…and the He shows up and walks with us night after night!!!

Campmeeting…..is history!

July 15th, 2011

Campmeeting once again is history!  We left North Carolina with many happy memories…sweet victories…and filled with fresh fire to do the work of God!  Our friends…new and old…came from north, south, east and west to join us for 10 days of visitation of His presence!  He walked with us under the tent and we came out changed!

Every year has it’s own sweet memory that stands out…last year was 46 receiving the Baptism in the Holy Ghost.  This year was night after night of healings…miracle healings!  Several with back problems left healed…some after prayer…some just during worship…but healed!  Within one day…mrsa that was red, swollen and draining….dried up, shrunk and healed!!!! Each night it was another healing testimony from the night before!  We are so thankful for what He has done in our midst.  He is a great God and greatly to be praised!

We look forward to our next meetings…let the spirit of Campmeeting…the excitement, the anticipation, the worship and that wonderful healing anointing follow along with us in the days ahead!

CAMPMEETING 2011!!!!

July 4th, 2011

Campmeeting has begun…we are on day #5 and the Lord has walked with us night after night under the tent!  Each night has it’s own individual visitation!  Our friends are coming in from Tennessee, South Carolina, Alabama, Florida, Virginia, West Virginia and many other areas….as well as all over North Carolina!  Each night we walk under the tent with great anticipation of what we are about to encounter!  You still have time to pack your bags and join us before the week is over!!!!

Pray for Ronnie and his family…

June 22nd, 2011

Ronnie’s oldest brother, Lecil, passed away today at 2:30PM.  Please hold up the Trammell family for the next few days as they gather together to say their final goodbyes.  Heaven has just become a little sweeter….

Countdown begins!!!!

June 12th, 2011

We are so excited that Campmeeting is 17 days away!  We just closed an open air meeting under the Pavilion in Mt. Vernon, Alabama…just a few miles north of Mobile.  It made me think of Campmeeting and those nights under the tent….and it is almost here!

We have a special Campmeeting rate at the Quality Inn of $64.99 Sun-Thurs and $74.99 on Fri-Sat for anyone looking for a special rate.  The Holiday Inn Express is offering an advance purchase rate over the internet for anyone booking at least 7 days ahead.  There is also a Knights Inn, Mayberry Motel, Microtel Inn, Hampton Inn and then the Best Western is about 8 miles away.  There are many to choose from and then we are about 30 minutes north of Winston Salem…so many motels to choose from.

There are several things to see while in Mt Airy during the day…Floyd’s Barber Shop, Snappy’s Lunch, Aunt Bee’s Restaurant, Goober’s Restaurant, Barney’s Jail and take a ride in his police car!  In Winston Salem you can visit Old Salem and see how the Moravian’s settled and lived many years ago.  There is also a nice ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway or a visit to the top of Pilot Mountain (Mt Pilot in Mayberry)…and then every night at 7:30PM meet us under the tent for a time of fellowship…singing, preaching, praying and a visitation of His presence.  We come in one way and go out another way!

Make your vacation plans to meet us under the big gospel tent June 30-July 9.  For more information, go to our Campmeeting Page here on the website!  See you soon….

Spring is here…everything is in bloom!

May 13th, 2011

Ronnie and I were off for a few days this week.  It was so refreshing to work in the yard…watch our flowers beginning to bloom and smell freshly mown grass!  For many years, we were in revival when the flowers would bloom and they were nearly gone before we got home…many times totally missing some…even though it is a small thing…it has been very special to me to slow down for a few days and smell the roses! ….literally!

Just as it is in the natural…so it is in the spiritual!  We have passed through a long, winter season…seeming it would never come to an end….but Spring has come!  No storm lasts forever…everyone has an end!  Weeping endures for a night season, and then joy returns in the morning!  Thank God winter is past….Spring is here!

God has smiled on us this year…even though it has been a year of great stress and difficulty…we can gladly say…all is well!  We look forward to each visit to our home for a few days but we also look so forward to seeing you again in meeting somewhere very soon!

Thank you William Tyndale…

May 3rd, 2011

400 years ago on May 2nd William Tyndale translated the Bible into the King James Version.  He never would know what an impact it would have all these years later….as he was burned at the stake for doing so!  If I am having a difficult time reading…after someone gave their life that I might have the privilege of reading…I think the least I can do is….read!  Study to show thyself approved…

Thank you Brother Tyndale for your sacrifice….

Spring is in the air!

April 21st, 2011

I am so thankful today for the beautiful warm weather, bright sunshine and flowers blooming all over North Carolina.  It is refreshing to see all the new growth after a long, hard winter…  So it is in our lives….there will always be a Spring… Hold on…winter is over and I smell the scent of blooming flowers in the air!

Spring Retreat is here!

March 30th, 2011

It has been a busy couple weeks since I have updated our blog!  We are still rejoicing over Ronnie’s good report from the heart cath!

We then traveled to Wolftown, VA for our Spring Campmeeting with Mike Ferree and Cecil Hamby where we had 8 filled with the Holy Ghost and 3 saved!  Time will tell how many lives were changed and healed in the presence of the Lord in that meeting!

This week I went to our first ever audit with the IRS in 28 years of ministry.  We are anxiously awaiting their report of how things went.  We are believing everything was as it should be and we will not owe additional tax.

Today we are traveling to Pigeon Forge for our 10th Annual Spring Family Retreat at the Smoky Mtn Convention Center.  Today is set up day…tomorrow we begin at 7:30PM…through Saturday morning.  This is always such a great time of visitation and I know this year will be no different!  You can still register at the door…$20 per person…and children under 12 free.  Make your plans to join us this weekend and I promise you will not regret it!   See you soon…..

A good report…He moves one more time!

March 7th, 2011

It has been a week since I have updated my blog…please forgive me!  It has been a very stressful week!  We went to the Clinic for a routine physical only to end up preparing for a heart cath.  After an abnormal ekg and chest pain during the nuclear stress test…they scheduled Ronnie for a heart cath on Tuesday.  I want to thank all of you that have been praying for Ronnie.  The cath was clear…no blockages…very little build up in only one artery!  We know this is after a touch from the Lord!  Ronnie has been having some chest pain for a week prior to the physical!  Our God is so faithful!

The doctors would not release Ronnie to travel the 13 hrs home for a week following the cath.  We have rested this week and are looking forward to our next meetings in North Carolina, Missouri, Illinois and Virginia before we head to our 10th Annual Family Spring Retreat!

There are no words I can write to express my heart to you!  We drew strength from the prayers of our partners and friends this week.  Thank you for walking WITH US through this unsettling time.  We love you and appreciate your faithfulness more than we could express…

Prayer partners…stand with us!

February 28th, 2011

Ronnie had a physical today…abnormal ekg…chest pain during stress test…they are doing a heart cath at 7:30am tomorrow…  Please stand with us in prayer for a good report and they find the source of this continuing chest pain.  We draw strength from the prayers of our friends…

Happy Valentine’s Day…..

February 14th, 2011

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

This is a day to be thankful for everyone in your life that you love….and that love you!  I’m thankful for my husband, mom, sister, brothers…all the extended members of my family…nieces, nephews…all our partners that prayerfully and financially support us each month…all our friends and churches….but most of all….THANK YOU JESUS FOR LOVING ME!

Where would I be without you….what would I do without you…who would I become without you!  I need you….so happy you need me!

Prayers for Shelby!

February 9th, 2011

My nephew’s girlfriend, Shelby…18 years old…overcorrected and hit a tree…tree then fell on top of her car..she is on a ventilator and has not regained consciousness since the accident.  Drs say she has brain stem trauma…they need for her to come off ventilator by Saturday or they will give her a trach…Prayer partners please join us in praying for Shelby…she will breath on her own…the brain stem trauma heals and she will wake up and regain everything she has lost from this accident…She stands in need of a miracle….BUT WE KNOW THE MIRACLE WORKER!!!!!

Winter Campmeeting….great success!!!!

February 2nd, 2011

We are still rejoicing from the Campmeeting in Johnson City, Tennessee!  Service after service He showed up with such great love, great mercy and great power!  On Friday night, my nephew, Aaron gave his heart to Jesus and he…along with Cameron and serveral others received the baptism in the Holy Ghost!  What a sight to behold as everyone rejoiced together for such a great outpouring of His presence!

Saturday morning was a carry over of the night before and then Saturday night was the peak of the week!  Words cannot express how Jesus picked us up….filled us with His love…baptized us afresh…and sent us on our way!  We walk away with many testimonies of healings, deliverances, salvations and fillings!!!!  It just doesn’t get any better than this.  What a way to begin the new year!  If this is an indicator of the way our Campmeetings will go this year…I can’t wait until Wolftown, Virginia in March!  Thank you Jesus….

2011 Winter Campmeeting

January 28th, 2011

We are in the middle of our 2011 Winter Campmeeting in Johnson City, Tennessee with the Bible Church.  Pastors Bo Barnes and Garry Hyder and all the members of Bible Church have been so kind this week…they have been so faithful in the meetings…the lunch is absolutely delicious!  We are having such wonderful meetings…such a great presence of the Lord!  We will have service Friday night and tomorrow at 10am and 7:30pm….Make plans to join us before it is over!!!!

10th Annual Spring Family Retreat!

January 19th, 2011

We are getting so excited about our 10 year anniversary for our Spring Family Retreat!  Down through the years we have seen many hundreds attend this retreat…some for one year…many year after year.  It is such a great time of fellowship and such unity among the body of Christ!

We have singers come from many areas, musicians come and join Ronnie playing music leading us into His presence and pastors and evangelists joining together drawing from their well to lift Him up!

We have all the details you need to register for this great time of fellowship in the presence of the Lord on our Bulletin Page.  Make your reservations now at the Ramada Inn while we have a block of rooms reserved with a special group rate!  We look forward to seeing you in March!!!

It’s the beginning of a new year!

January 11th, 2011

We are ten days into our new year and God has been so good to us!  I have been posting on facebook regularly and failed to update our blog.  I am going to strive to be more faithful this year to keep you posted on the blog if you are not one of our facebook friends.

We are in Florida in revival….it is 78 degrees here and 23 degrees at home in Kentucky.  As much as I enjoy the sunshine…I also miss that beautiful snow!

Our meetings are going great…God has been so good to us…we have had several give their heart to the Lord already this year.  My heart is filled with anticipation of what is in store for the weeks ahead.

We are now preparing for your Winter Campmeeting with Mike Ferree, Cecil Hamby and Ronnie and I along with several other ministers and Pastors Bo Barnes and Garry Hyder and the congregation at Bible Church, Johnson City, Tennessee.  Join us the last week of January for two services a day!

Our 10th Annual Spring Retreat will be March 31-April 2 and we have begun to send out the mail….preparations have begun and we are so excited to see what this year will hold for us!

I am grateful….

December 8th, 2010

My Mom, soon to turn 80, writes every morning in her “Gratitude Journal”.  She turns off the television…sits quiet and thinks on what she is grateful for that particular day.  Then she records it in her journal.  I am persuaded that is the reason my Mom gets so many of her prayers answered.  Jesus loves for us to be thankful…and He loves that we notice how He is taking such good care of us!

So today I will write in my journal….”I am grateful for MY MOM!”

Happy Thanksgiving Day….

November 22nd, 2010

This week is a special time of year…it helps us to remember how thankful we need to be for all the blessings that have been bestowed upon our lives.  I am thankful for family…for friends…for open doors to carry this message of Jesus Christ into…for health and happiness but most of all…for the love and gift given me by the Lord Jesus!

10th Annual Ladies Retreat great success!

November 14th, 2010

WE ARE SO EXCITED TO REPORT JESUS HAS BEEN IN THE HOUSE!!!!  We had over 300 women singing, praising, shouting while “The Ferree Girls” sang their heart out!  Lynda Hylton sang as always with her beautiful voice that lifts us into His presence!

The word then comes forth with great power and authority!  We are thankful for Karen being healed the very first night…for Haily being healed on Saturday morning, for the healing in Sally’s body, for Winnie’s sweet sleep after battling insomnia and many more than we can mention!  Thank you for the pastors and pastor’s wives that worked with me in the altars praying with the ladies and for such unity in all the meetings!

Thank you to all our workers who so faithfully help make this all possible.  Pat, Brenda, Pam, Patty, Lindy, Winnie, Callie and Monica worked so tirelessly making sure we have pictures, getting women registered, taping for our dvds, working at our tape and cd table helping ladies who are interested in our products…thanks to Amy, Beth, Melissa, Jessica, Louise, Sally, Casey, Monica and Sister Hensley for the beautiful wreaths you brought for door prizes and to Winnie and Callie for those you made in your room for us!  Many hands behind closed doors make this all a success!  Thank you Banita for finding those beautiful pink mugs and pens we had engraved with our theme this year…”STILL following the One who knows the way!”  Everything was just beautiful!!  Thank you LC and Patty for staying with us until all the equipment was loaded and the convention center was empty…many works for Jesus go unseen my human eyes….but He has an all-seeing eye!  Thank you all!!!

Thank you Jesus most of all…my niece, Melissa, gave her heart to the Lord!  It just doesn’t get any better than this!

Ladies Retreat first night is over the top!

November 12th, 2010

I am so thankful tonight as I am trying to wind down to go to sleep that we had such a wonderful opening service for our Retreat!  Many new women and the largest crowd ever…my nieces and sister in law (The Ferree Girls) did our praise and worship with special guest singer, Lynda Hylton.  The music and singing was wonderful!  Women walking, praying, touch the hem of His garment…what a wonderful sight!  Thank you Jesus for walking with us tonight!

Ladies Retreat is finally here!

November 11th, 2010

The room is decorated…today we fill the totes with goodies…women are beginning to arrive…anticipation is high…many women coming for the first time this year…it is our 10 year anniversary and reunion and what a reunion it will be!  We worked yesterday for several hours until late last night making last minute preparations!  I am sooo ready to it to begin…can’t wait for the women to arrive…Signed the contract 11 months ago… purchased specialty totes in February…been preparing for the last 2 months and TODAY IS THE TODAY!  Travel safe Ladies!
